Chuck Jones has lived and worked in Wayne Township his entire life with the exception of two years. He was raised in the Lafayette Heights area, on the western edge of Mars Hill. Chuck’s father worked at Bridgeport Brass and his mother was a homemaker. Growing up Chuck attended Sanders Elementary and Ben Davis Jr. High, and he graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1969.
Chuck began work at Rexnord (Link Belt) on Rockville Rd straight out of high school, where in June 2017 he retired, after forty-eight years. For more than thirty years of the time that Chuck worked for Rexnord, he held the position of Local Union President. As Local Union President he had many roles and an extensive job description. But the bottom line was… He helped people and as the Wayne Township Trustee, Chuck will continue to help the people in this community.
Chuck will provide Wayne Township with the strong leadership it needs and he will not be afraid to challenge the establishment.
